Astroboden is the enclosure for all things astronomy.
It won’t fit everything and some sensitive equipment is relocated after the observation session. But it doesn’t just store equipment. It's a shrine. A sacred place. To find peace and meditation. (Really! There is no flask in there. Promise!)
Humidity and temperature.
Humidify and temperature, specially in combination is a serious threat to equipment. Located on an open field humidity rising from the ground is a problem. Another low-tech solution has been a couple of stockings with silica-gel kitty-litter sand on a towel over the mount, a geoptics uv-cover pulled over the equipment and cinched around the bottom of the mount head.
Safety
The shed is locked, equipped with alarm featuring: attention attraction, cameras and notification service in case of too curious visitors.
